How to Fall in Love with Law School?

As time progresses we tend to lose motivation to et through our years of life. But as much as it is important to rekindle your love relationships, it's important to rekindle the same motivation and love with your professional life.

Hence, it's time to fall in love with law school (again.)

Here's how you can rekindle your love with law school.

Just like a relationship, realise the moment why you wanted to be here.

Think about that speech that made you go "Oh yes! I want to join law school" or that social issue that made you want to change the law.

Anything and everything matters. Just think about the first time you joined law school. Starry-eyed and bushy-tailed kid, who wanted to make a change in their life.

Rekindle that moment and think about how you can make your younger self happy by doing what you always wanted to do by joining law school.

Be kind to yourself.

As law students, the biggest factor in losing motivation is the endless work and the constant pressure to be the best. Don't push yourself so hard to the extent you suffer from burnout or even just lose the will to continue with the work.

Being the best is amazing, but not at the cost of losing yourself in the process. Remember to be kind to yourself, because no one else will. (Or they may but regardless, you should be kind to yourself.)

Discover something new.

The biggest motivation (at least for me) is to get out of my comfort zone and get into a new comfort zone. Finding something new to do in law school, be it fitness, or blogging (like I did) or just discovering something that you're passionate about is beautiful. It gives you a reason to detach yourself from the daily works of law school and continue doing something that you truly care about despite the hectic schedule.

It acts as a much-needed break to help you with your mental health.

So remember to always find the joy in moving out of your comfort zone.
